Band logo - progress 2

Here are the latest developments of my band logo for the ancillary task. Here I have included explanations of each development in my construction to date.

This is perhaps the most complex stage of my logo construction. Here, I have used the 3D tool on Photoshop CC to create a diffused texture to the text. By doing this, I think that the logo looks more engaging with it. IT was extremely hard to create this look because the alignment tools on Photoshop are very sensitive. Therefore, it took a far amount of time to ensure that the diffusion of the text was created effectively.
My next development was to add the band name to the logo. I did this through the use of the text tool and selecting the font I wished to use. As you can see, I have used adjustment lines both vertically and horizontally throughout my construction in order to make sure the logo is central to the screen. This is also a beneficiary to the text of the logo that will always be straight.

Next, I added the digipak title 'The Collision' to the logo. Like the band name, this was achieved through the use of the text tool. To ensure that I use the same text colour throughout the product, I have made the grey colour a preset in order to make sure that it is always used correctly.
